Yawara is maintained by Janete Rebizzi and Fredrik Lindmark, we are a small-scale breeder of high quality bengal cats in home environment. The advantage of it is that the cats and the kittens get human contact, meaning a happier life than otherwise.

Our goal is to purify the wild look, which means stronger contrasts, stronger graduation between both blackspotted as well as rosetted bengals. The motion dynamic is as important as the pattern for us, it should walk and act like a small leopard, wild and exotic without loosing the respect to the house and everyone else in the family. We are simply looking for the highest wow factor as possible in a cat.

Yawaras name is inspired by a Brazilian indigenous tribe whos language is Tupi, it stands for jaguar.
